What bad luck to find that the financier Jeffrey Epstein has died in his prison as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges. Because of the seriousness of the charges, Epstein was on a 24 hour suicide watch. Someone obviously wasn’t watching.
I am not by nature a conspiracy theorist. I happen to believe the truth to usually be boring and uncontroversial. This time, I am not so sure.
Recently, hundreds of pages of court documents appeared, pointing out further allegations against Epstein and some of his associates. Who were his associates?
His associates included former President Bill Clinton. More interestingly, he was also close to professional layabout and golfer Prince Andrew and professional absolute bastard President Donald J Trump. We have no way of knowing whether they are implicated. Time will tell.
Not that I am suggesting any wrong doing, oh no. Although Epstein had form, and had indeed down time for sex with minors, it would be quite improper to suggest others might have been involved or that he might know where, as they say, the bodies are buried.
The FBI is now investigating so we may or may not discover whether there is anything more to this sordid affair. Back in 2002, Donald Trump said Epstein was a “terrific guy…. it is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side”. I am sure when he said “younger” he did not mean below the age of consent. I mean, no such man would ever become president, would he?
