No Beatle

I was pleased to read the news that the islamist fascist Aine Davis has been deported from Turkey back to the UK and promptly charged with various terrorist offences. He was part of an Islamic State terror cell led by fellow maniac Mohammed Emwazi who, you may recall, used to rant at the camera before slitting the throat of and beheading a British hostage. Davis has already spent six years banged up in Turkey, which I hope was thoroughly unpleasant for him. If found guilty of charges here, Davis is likely to spend the rest of his life in a British prison. But why, oh why, are these loathsome murderers referred to as ‘The Beatles’?

It’s probably just me but the very idea that these people could in any way be compared to John, Paul, George and Ringo is beyond me. Christ: I’d be angry even if they’d been referred to as Queen. To the best of my knowledge, no islamist terrorist has written a song as good as In My Life or Hey Jude. And none of them stayed in bed, as did John and Yoko, to campaign for peace. Emwazi was referred to as Jihadi John. John from the Beatles wanted to give peace a chance.

In 2015, Emwazi was killed in a US drone attack which for me was both good and bad news. Good that this rotting peace of hell on Earth had finally been taken out, but bad that he had not been captured and sentenced to a life in prison. Obviously, I hope his death was painful and miserable and that he suffered as much as possible but I would rather he been confronted with the evil of his deeds through a court case. Still, you can’t have it all.

Less of this Beatles nonsense and more of the IS islamist maniacs, please.
