Yes, it’s that time you haven’t been waiting for: it’s my Friday Music Shuffle. Here, we set loose the iPod hooked up to my speakers and it plays what it wants.
And here it is, live from my man cave.
Welcome my friends to the show that never ends.
1. Fallen Angel by Jo Jo Gunne. Forget Run Run Run by Jo Jo Gunne – well, don’t because it’s mint – but their album So…Where’s the Show? album is a career high point. Proper American rock.
2. Let There Be Love by Nat King Cole. What do you mean you don’t like this? Are you mad?
3. Lucky Town by Bruce Springsteen. 1992, I mean 1992. Wonderful.
4. Samurai by Crosby and Nash. Just two of the loveliest voices on earth, no instruments.
5. Reggatta de Blanc by the Police. Title track of their 1979 long player and classic ear worm territory.
6. Finally by Kings of Tomorrow. Lush bit of classic House, here.
7. Mayakovsky by the Manic Street Preachers. A beauty from the superb Futurology record.
8. Clint Eastwood (Ed Case Mix) by Gorillaz. What do you expect from the wonderful Damon?
9. CLOUDS by Prince. From his reasonably good Art Official Age album of 2014.
10. The Greatest Day by Take That. Well, I like it!
