Another day, yet another positive test, confirming that for the fifth day running I still have Covid-19. That’s the bad news. The good news? My symptoms are the remnants of a new and continuous cough, a snotty nose and feeling knackered from time to time. So, basically, nothing more than a nuisance, a mild inconvenience.
The second red line, the one next to the T, is clearly visible but is not as clear as it was in the last four days. This could mean several things. 1) I am carrying a lower viral load. 2) Nothing. Either way, the simple fact of the matter is that I have to stay at home at home for the foreseeable.
That said, I know it’s no big deal. The only ‘inconvenience’ is that I have to stay at home, which is not, in any conceivable way, important in the grand scheme of things. Christ: 534 new UK Covid deaths were announced yesterday and 1474 people were admitted to hospital because, lest we forget, this is still a deadly virus, even if the current dominant variant is less deadly than the previous versions. If the worst that happens to me is I nod off from time to time I have no right to complain. So, I’m not going to.
Have a Covid free day, y’all.
