If you live in USA USA USA and have a child called Tim, President Trump has some worrying news for you:
“We have 5 states where your child goes off to school as Tim and comes back as Tammy 3 or 4 days later. It’s true. And teachers make a decision. ‘Goodbye Timmy I love you so much, I’ll see you later.’ And you say, ‘Where’s my son? My son is in the hospital.’ Can you imagine? They don’t even need approval”
To be fair, it depends on whether you live in one of the five states Dementia Donny fails to mention by name – and that must be a worry in itself – but just imagine it. You son goes to school, the teachers “make a decision“, and he comes back a she. It’s unbelievable, literally so.
You would have thought things were bad enough for America’s children without teachers enforcing sex changes on them. Since 1999, there have been nearly 400 school shootings causing 203 deaths and 441 injuries among students and staff. Around 390,000 children have experienced gun violence since 1999, too. According to the Gun Violence Archive, 2024 saw more than 1,400 children and teens (ages 0-17) die by firearms and more than 3,700 injured. Still, let’s not worry about minor issues like that. Those sex changes, eh?
I profess to knowing little about the American education system so I decided to employ the services of Mr. Google and this is what I found. It turns out you need to acquire a bachelor’s degree, completion of a state-approved preparation programme (it says here) and a state-issued teaching licence. I could find no reference to training teachers to force children to change their sex, but perhaps that features in on-the-job training? Either way, the President of the United States of America surely wouldn’t be making shit up in order to scare people into voting for his preferred candidates? Would he?
It is certainly hard to believe that those in Trump’s audience had been subject to any form of education at all. I don’t know if you are familiar with the Good Liars Project – if not you really should be – but clearly his admirers are convinced that he is the way and the truth and the life, as the supposed Jesus Christ once claimed to be. These people are clearly far more concerned about Tim and Tammy than they are about the 12 children who die from gun violence in America Every Single Day. And who can blame them?
So far as I am aware, British teachers are more likely to concern themselves with minor matters like educating their pupils, but let us not take our collective eye off the ball. If teachers in America can force children to undergo genital reconstruction, what’s to stop it happening here? After all, if we can import McDonalds, Trick Or Treat and Black Friday, I suppose anything is possible.
