He Swiped, He Missed would like to issue an unreserved apology to Jack Burton for some unfortunate comments that appeared on this blog yesterday.
The comments read, ‘Jack Burton is an apology of a cricketer. He can’t bat, he can’t bowl and he can’t field. He’s a liability to any team he plays for and an embarrassment to our summer game. This was shown by the three simple catches he spilled against Barrow Gurney which effectively cost Stoke Gifford the match.’
We would like to point out that, in fact, Jack only dropped two simple catches and not three so we are happy to correct this particular error.
