Get down on it

Tulisa Contostavlos has been convicted for drunk driving. The singer and former X Factor judge (it says on the BBC website) was driving up the wrong side of the road after two glasses of wine and managed to crash into a Saab, which I believe is a type of car (I am not an expert). She was banned for driving for 15 months and fined an amount of money which will probably not seriously dent her bank account.

I am not overly familiar with Ms Contostavlos as an entertainer, apart from a woeful performance she gave in providing a blow job to someone whose face we didn’t see in what we refer to an an ‘adult video’. I read that she sang for the now defunct popular beat combo outfit NDubz and, on the basis of her success in the pop world (is this hip enough for you?), she became a judge on Simon Cowell’s popular TV karaoke show the X Factor. To be fair to the young lady concerned, the video of her ‘sexual act’, as the newspapers refer to blow jobs, appeared courtesy of her ex boyfriend, and not her, who filmed the whole thing on his mobile phone and then stuck it on the internet. I believe their relationship did not withstand this indiscretion.

We learned from Ms Contostavlos’s lawyer that her client is now trying to launch a new career as an actress and suffering a conviction for drunk driving would not do much to enable her career to progress in the USA. Judging from her performance on video, she’s still got a lot of learning to do.
