Can you please help us find this missing 15 year old girl?

Who doesn't exist

by Rick Johansen

This morning, lazily flicking through the orgy of photo dumps, gurning selfies and naked exhibitionism Facebook has become, I came across a worrying post from someone called ‘Shannon Wells’. Shannon is part of the “Bath-Keynsham-Norton-Somerset-Business Services and Selling Page” Facebook. Anyway, her shtick is to share details of missing persons, the latest one appearing to be her daughter. She writes this:

“My daughter has been missing since 22nd July. 15 days.

It only takes two seconds to share.

Her name is Graci Mae Thompson

Age 15

Height 5’2″

Weight 103

Hair color: Originally strawberry blonde but now dyed black

She was last seen in black shorts and a black T shirts.”

I have no idea who Ms Wells is, or whether she exists at all, but what I do know, having carried out a cursory check courtesy of Mr Google, is that Graci Mae Thompson who, the original post claims went missing in Texas, doesn’t exist and never has. Put quite simply, this is a scam.

I attach this link to the excellent Malware Tips website, which tells you everything you need to know about this nasty little hoax and the scumbags behind it. They’re exploiting people’s kindness and they’re trying to con them.

Remember. Not everything you see on the internet is true. Have a nice day.
