The cricketing world was rocked to its foundations this week with victories for both teams.
The firsts were entertaining United Banks and bowled them out for 120.
Sadly, no sources at the game but the village won with something to spare.
(If you want proper reports you will need to tell us!)
Meanwhile, the seconds beat Alveston with the youngest team ever fielded by the village (possibly) with an average age of 15. However, the Sheriff and topless sweetheart Mark Stephens raised the average age to nearer 40. This was not helped when Foxy cried off at the last minute suffering from, er, tiredness following Friday night exertions.
The village batted first and scored 232 with the sheriff on 78, Nathan Daniels 58 and the aforementioned Stephens 40.
The opposition had no reply – well they did, but they finished about 100 short.
