Just when I was getting excited at the prospect of Jose Mourinho disappearing abroad following his sacking by Chelsea, I now fear the worst. I am a Class A cynic when it comes to football so I have come up with a theory on the basis of no evidence and obviously no inside knowledge.
Jose Mourinho engineered his own sacking from Chelsea in order to succeed Louis van Gaal at Manchester United, following discussions with his old mate Sir Alex Ferguson.
It seems so bleeding obvious to me it simply must be true.
I expect van Gaal to be sacked perhaps as early as tonight with the Special One in position by Monday morning. What’s to stop it?
