Jordan to put money into Bristol Rovers

by Rick Johansen

So chairman Nick Higgs wasn’t kidding when he said he was involved with various groups to get them to put money into the Bristol Rovers. I haven’t fully read the story yet, so from what I can gather Mr Higgs has persuaded Jordan to put some money into Bristol Rovers.

I was not aware that Jordan, AKA Katie Price, was remotely interested in football, let alone in a lowly League Two club some distance away from her home base in Essex, but I suppose stranger things have happened.

Quite what she will make of the likes of septuagenarian board members Ken Masters and swarthy lothario Barry ‘Boycie’ Bradshaw is anyone’s business, but with Katie’s track record of success in any direction she has chosen, her addition to Box Number One at the Memorial Stadium suggests a new era for the club.

This could be the most exciting appointment at the club since Michelle Thorne did a turn at half time a few years ago. And it’s the kind of viagra the club has been needing for years.
