Today, it’s the Ben Hiscox Memorial match at Little Stoke playing fields. The whole thing kicks off at noon and attendance is compulsory.
After the match, there will be a selection of soft drinks (!) and snacks at the Club House on North Road and in the Beaufort from 7.00 pm there will be what older folk refer to as a ‘disco’.
Time to remember Ben, to celebrate his life and how in sadness he brought us all together.
