Yes, it’s that time of the week when I set my music device to shuffle and it randomly selects ten tunes. I tell you what they were and if you want to sing along, then just click on the song title.

Now, let’s rock!

  1. Dangerous by The Doobie Brothers. Excellent rocker from 1991’s Brotherhood LP.
  2. The Bob (Medley) by Roxy Music. Much more of a prog rock sound from Bryan Ferry and the chaps from Roxy’s incredible 1972 debut album. (Bob stands for Battle of Britain BTW and you get to hear the bombs and gunfire on here too.)
  3. Trouble by Little Feat. Back to 1972 with this joint from the Sailin’ Shoes record.
  4. Friday Night by Fun Lovin’ Criminals. From 2003’s Welcome to Poppy’s, this is classic FLCs.
  5. You Do Something To Me by Paul Weller. Well, it’s the Modfather, innit?
  6. Venezuelan Zinga Son by Los Amigos Invisibles. From 2003’s excellent The Venezuelan Zinga Son, Vol. 1.
  7. Little Wonder by David Bowie. Actual Jungle from the White Duke on 1997’s Earthling.
  8. Anchors Away by North Atlantic Explorers. Dreamy cinematic music from Vancouver. Lush.
  9. Best Friend by Foster The People. Much more to FTP than Pumped Up Kicks, this is from 2015’s Supermodel long player.
  10. Pilgrim Side Eye by Flying Lotus. God knows how you define Flying Lotus’s music – some kind of jazz electronica? Anyway, it’s great and from 2019’s Flamagra.

That’s all, folks!
