The first team had a predictable 4-1 win against third from bottom Old Georgians.

If you thought this was impressive (and you would be in a small minority if you did), the stiffs ran out 8-0 winners at Corinthians thanks to hat tricks from Ben 10 and Ian Semple (which included a clever handball) plus efforts from Casson and Bisp. The only real low point was a dismal penalty miss from stroller Tom Burton. Calum ‘Call Me Meaney’ Meaney was by far the best player on the pitch according to…er…Calum Meaney.

The thirds, meanwhile, were missing a shed load of players but managed to run Severnside, who were tonight promoted, very close. Ryan ‘Moaty’ Edwards turned out for the thirds, despite suffering from serious knee knack. A new low in his declining career. A late own goal (claimed by Guy Long even though the ball was already three feet over the line) brought the village back into the game in a 2-1 defeat. Man of the match – Stinky Turner (59).
