Oh, what a night! Not for the first time, I spent a Friday night in the Beaufort Arms in Stoke Gifford. However, this time it was not all about the booze (although it obviously helped). Last night was all about the Hiscox family.
Two years after the passing of his son, Ben, Clive Hiscox launched his book about the King of the Village, entitled Our Ben and Us and villagers were buying their copies.
I know that not all of you could make it to the Beaufort, but I have good news for you: you can still get your copy through Clive’s exciting new website or at the pub itself.
