And, because I haven’t written anything else today, here’s the second instalment of this week’s shuffle, live from my Man Cave.

  1. Double Barrel by Dave and Ansil Collins. Classic Trojan from 1971.
  2. Together Again by Emmylou Harris. The wondrous tones of the delectable Ms Harris from her impeccable Elite Hotel.
  3. I Can’t Stay by the Killers. From their long player Day and Age. Not sure I see the point of the Killers nowadays but back in the day they were superb.
  4. Touch Too Much by AC/DC. From Highway To Hell, this is the band with Bon Scott, so the best version of the band.
  5. On The 4th of July by James Taylor. Still wonderful after all these years.
  6. Baby I Want Your Lovin’ by KC and the Sunshine Band. Not a well known tune from the chaps but it’s still great.
  7. I Do This For You by Georgio Moroder feat Marlene. From his album Deja Vu, this, from the king of disco, is wonderful.
  8. Gaye by Clifford T Ward. Anyone remember Clifford? One of the most underrated singer/songwriters ever.
  9. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? by Joe Walsh. Cracking rocking cover of the King/Goffin classic.
  10. Happy by Max Sedgley. Excellent bit of funky electronica from the one time Roni Size drummer.

That’s really all, folks!
